I'm almost 60. I've been waiting for "necessary change" my whole life. But nothing significantly has changed. We're still right on track to destroying our entire biosphere.

Change infinitely delayed is no change at all.

In the 1960s, I expected that now we knew about the consequences of pollution, we'd move to stop it. In the 80s, I believed that now we knew about the impending climate catastrophe, we'd move to stop it.

Instead, we got people like you saying, "Change is not possible now, but maybe in ten years."

And now we're out of time, and people like you are still saying, "Change is impossible today or tomorrow, but maybe in a couple of generations."
