We as a society need to almost completely carbonize by 2030. 50% won’t hack it…

…and this is just for shipping.

The real cost on the planet for Amazon shipments isn’t the shipping, it’s what’s being shipped.

Amazon could completely transform the contents of those boxes too, if they simply refused to ship anything that had a carbon footprint — but he isn’t even thinking of doing that.

He might as well said, “Fuck you,” to our ecosystem.

Jeff, a thought for you.

You have a family — you have four children. Tell me — when the rest of the world finally realizes that a tiny number of desperately irresponsible rich people such as yourselves have doomed us all to disaster, how well do you think the Bezos surname will do?

Do you think your children will be revered because their father helped destroy the world?

In the past, when terrible crimes have been committed, have people responded generally by forgiving the perceived culprits and showing them the mercy they never showed their victims?

You know humans, Jeff — what do you think people’s responses will be when they realize all our children’s future has been ruined — and at least partly so you could become the richest man in history?

Ha, ha! A little fantasy there.

Jeff Bezos will never read this — and the man’s a sociopath, it wouldn’t bother him one iota if he did.

He’d get to the end and say, “I am the richest man in history, and more, I impoverished the Earth so much that no one ever again will be as rich as I am now. I WON FUCK YOU EVERYONE ELSE!”

(But considering that their wealth couldn’t buy them things like modern dentistry, health care, fresh food out of season, the internet, or a car or a plane or even a bicycle, in any practical terms they were nowhere near as rich.)
