A lot of angry responses!

While I don't agree with their tone, I agree with their conclusions.

First, the whole "culture" thing is some ridiculous workist bullshit that has no actual meaning at all.

Second, we are facing an existential threat, and giving up commuting would be a huge way to cut down our footprint on the planet.

Third, as a top performer, I am negatively interested in being in an office. I rely on being able to focus intensely on my work, and given today's offices aren't even cubicles but just a desk on the floor, I am constantly being interrupted. When I went to remote only, my productivity took a big jump and stayed there.
