And what would that vision be? A trillion dollars in nuclear weapons? Universal drone warfare? More oil and gas production so we can make climate change even more certain? Making sure that Wall Street can continue to break the law with impunity? Protecting war criminals? Endless war in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as new wars in Syria, Libya and Yemen?

I have a personal nickname for Obama — it is “Our Last Chance, Squandered.” It was Obama’s near-complete failure to achieve any of the goals we so desperately needed that gave us the marginally more despicable Trump.
