His hope is that he and a few hundred other plucky billionaires will escape our dying planet and live on the cold, dark, airless, lifeless, arid, poisonous, radioactive planet of Mars in domes for hundreds of years, until after centuries of engineering feats far beyond anything humans have ever done to date, Mars has air to breathe, though unfortunately, would still be too cold to grow crops or even go outside for most of the year...
