All Americans should know the evil story of Roy Cohn.

If you have not yet seen the miniseries Angels In America, run, do not walk, to your nearest source of video content. The fact that Al Pacino has a leading role as Roy Cohn is only one of the many reasons to see it.

I avoided seeing it for years because of the title — I thought it was going to be some religious, Christian thing. Boy, was I wrong!

(Oh, and at the risk of spoilers I’ll say that even though the series is dark and good people suffer in it, the ending is satisfying and even uplifting.)
