Almost 40,000 Americans die in car accidents in a typical year. And that's with vehicles that you can just step out of if they stop working - or run out of gas.

And how would these drones work, considering how much more energy it takes to fly than drive? The battery on a Tesla weighs 1200 pounds.

This is a pipe dream. This will literally never happen.

Americans are so opposed to public transportation that they would rather believe in fantasy stories about flying to work like the Jetsons.

What America really needs is low-emission mass transport, not people flying to work in their own individual airplanes!

(And finally, a drone is defined as an uncrewed vehicle with no humans on it, so if you are flying to work in something, it certainly isn't a drone.)
