An awful lot of conservatives hate both Black people and women; on the other hand, Harris is a right-wing, pro-cop, pro-incarceration Democrat which alienates a lot of people on the left.

The Biden team destroyed any possibility of her being taken seriously by announcing that they were going to choose a woman of color before they announced Harris's specific candidacy, making it impossible for anyone to believe that competence was the primary criterion, and then they doubled down on this bad idea by simply not allowing her any sort of publicity.

If Biden has a health incident, which is certainly possible given his advanced age, who will the Democrats run?
