I'm a hopelessly overeducated abecedarian, and I sometimes use aggro, when it is the right word for the time.

Certainly, I agree with some of what you wrote. "Like" as an interjection is weak, and only should be used when you are deliberately trying to weaken or soften a sentence. But sometimes you do want to soften something harsh.

"Literally" is just an emphatic, these days. I might not like it, but that's what the language has become.

Actually overheard by someone I know:

A: She literally shit all over him.

B: Literally?!

A: No, not literally, what's wrong with you?
