The answer is almost certainly this: you have no basis whatsoever to make this statement, and you’re simply making it up.

In the rest of the world, we get financial support during the lockdown. The rational governments of the world have done the calculations (did you do any calculations? can I see your work, please?) and worked out that it’s far, far cheaper to pay people for a couple of months of not working, than to have their medical systems collapse and a large number of people die horribly.

That’s why America should be doing as well. And would be doing — if not for the evil and delusional Republicans.
