Ayn Rand was a sociopathic nutcase. She believed that marriage was a form of prostitution and that government needed to be destroyed.

Anyone who calls their philosophical belief "objectivism" - meaning "everyone else is subjective and wrong, and I alone am objective and right" - when the actual philosophy is entirely individualistic, and threfore exactly the reverse of being objective, deserves all the mockery that can be thrown at them.
