Bang on!
Now when people go off about the Maasai or Mongolia or lions, I just say, "They're grandfathered. Vegans have no interest in changing the lives of the indigenous peoples of the world. It's factory farming we're against."
I mean, this isn't technically true but I have yet to meet one vegan who begrudged, for example, the Inuit their seal meat that they painstakingly get from hunting one seal at a time. (And at least in Canada, the Inuit people are more endangered than the seals...)
