By now we knew all about Sally Hemmings (as you point out) but the whole stammer/high-pitched voice thing is brand-new to me at least.

I tried to feel a bit more sympathetic to Jefferson, who does share a name with me... maybe I succeeded a little but he's still a monster, just a somewhat pathetic one.

This isn't a great time in the world to be forgiving racists, though.
