Coming late to the party here, but just wanted to say that of course you’re right — that the United States is the only developed country in the Western world that does not guarantee women equal rights and this bad attitude pervades the entire culture.

I lived there for thirty years. I regularly met young women, often “progressive,” who would say “I hate feminism.” It made me very sad.

Good for you for challenging this! If the US flower growing system won’t sell to a woman, let them go to the wall.
