"Don't do anything - other people are responsible for all the problems!" -you

"It's those big corporations! The people who buy their products are blameless!" -you

"All you have to do is vote!" -you

When did voting ever work? America voted for Obama twice, and got more fossil fuels and more fracking: https://thinkprogress.org/obamas-worst-speech-ever-we-ve-added-enough-new-oil-and-gas-pipeline-to-encircle-the-earth-e5e24a156910/

By not acting yourself, governments and corporations know you are lying. "They talk about climate change, but every year they eat more meat and dairy, buy more gasoline powered cars, and fly more miles in airplanes."

And they give you what you want - a nice green package for your meat and chemical cleaners and cars and milk. As you say, "hang onto your cheese and your chicken wings!"

You won't change, governments won't change, corporations won't change, and the world dies.

Look at you - "environmental activist and active traveller". Don't you see anything wrong with that?

I'm curious - do you have any idea what your carbon footprint might be?

Your message is simple - you don't have to change your lifestyle at all, you just have to ask governments and businesses to do it for you. And somehow, they will figure out a way you can continue to travel all over the world and drive and eat meat and dairy and have kids and still reduce your carbon output by 95%.

Your message is death for the planet.
