First, your statement simply isn’t true — there’s a huge qualitative difference between, say, a hundred new cases a day and forty thousand. But second, the United States is failing to control the epidemic by every numerical metric there is.
So what’s your point? Are you claiming that the raw number of new cases doesn’t give an accurate picture? Then it’s up to you to prove this claim, by giving us this accurate picture. But you don’t do that, because you know any data you actually post would reinforce Umair’s view of the world.
You don’t like what Umair says, but instead of trying to refute it, you quibble. Poor show!
