Gold has practical uses; so far the only practical uses of cryptocurrency are speculation and crime.

Aside from tax evasion the only money that has been made out of crypto has been from selling crypto to someone else for more money. After twelve years, there isn't one viable web3 application that isn't buying and selling cryptocurrency.

What happens when the world runs out of greater fools?

If cryptocurrencies were really that great, why would everyone constantly be advertising it to us?
