Great article!

Just a tiny quibble — Python 2 reached end of life at the end of 2019 but it’s still supported until April of this year.

Here’s how it works, not that it’s really important. Python 2 reached end-of-life a couple of days ago, but there will be one more release of 2.7 in April of 2020 — and then that’s it, no new development. Details are here.

I unfortunately suspect a few people will be using Python 2 for a long time to come but any serious Python programmer switched years ago.
