Great article as usual, but you need to at least name check the book, "The Man Who Never Was" by Ewan Montagu, one of the organizers of Operation Mincemeat.

I've read it several times, and it's a page-turner. The level of detail they went into in imagining Major Martin is stunning on its own. Churchill has a small but key role that shows off how good he was at his job (which doesn't make him a good person, as I am aware).
