GRRR!

My wife has the misfortune to be trained in two skilled professions that have basically been destroyed in the last decade or so. It really bothers her that she can't make money (the fact we live somewhere non-English speaking is also an impediment) but economic income does not measure the value of a human being and I tell her this all the time.

You would think with both of us being Socialists that we'd be over these silly ideas, but no, we have internalized "making money equates with personal virtue". At least I don't project these verkakte values outward onto others!
