Have you thought through the logical consequences of your claims?

If what you say is true, this means is no socialized medicine, no end to the endless foreign wars, no progress on climate change, continuing escalation of the brutality of the police, and a continuation of the richest 1% looting society.

It means completely losing everything. It means collapse. And yet your response is to shrug.

Now I have a question for you - how are you so sure that offering Americans the same benefits from their society that *all other developed countries* get wouldn't work?

The one President who actually tried to do this, FDR, was so wildly popular that they literally amended the Constitution to prevent him from being re-elected. (He still had the last laugh, because he died in office.)

In the last 90 years, the Democrats have simply never done that. They offer only Republican-lite. And as you can see, they get poor results. No wonder people have only lukewarm support for them.

Over two-thirds of Americans want Medicare-for-all, including 46% of Republicans, and yet both parties are firmly agreed that it's impossible - and you believe them. Why?

You are so sure that Americans would continue to shoot themselves in the foot if given the choice that you're completely resigned to passively observing the collapse of your country.
