Hear, hear!

I'm 60, I've never owned a car, and I never intend to. And it's not lack of money by any means - I don't want the pollution and the waste and I don't want the responsibility.

Now I live in a bike-friendly city and I cycle everywhere. I spent about $600 on an incredibly practical bike with all sealed parts - it happily sits outside all the time and I expect this bike to outlive me.
