You know, no one loved cubicles, but they were OK. You had some level of privacy. You could take a break from work, or just think, and not worry that people were seeing you not doing things.

I’m a little baffled, however, at your dislike for “work from anywhere”. I have worked from home for many years, and it’s fantastic. I just never got so much work done as at home.
