Here’s a picture of a dog’s paw burnt by walking on asphalt. There are much worse pictures if you want to see them.

Considering that you simply don’t accept that you can damage a dog that way at all, my sympathies are entirely with the “old lady busybody”.

She knew something you didn’t, and instead of learning something from her, you proceeded to write an article mocking her.

I should add that it’s particularly funny that this is marked “self-awareness”.
