"Humanist Luddites" isn't actually any sort of counterargument.

If this world you promise actually happens, what are we going to do for jobs? If AI makes individuals ten times as productive, well, we don't need ten times as much writing or computer programming as we have today - it will simply mean that 90% of us will never work again.

Do you think the Musks and Altmans will give us all a comfortable guaranteed income? What would possibly lead anyone to believe this?

What good is "the world's collective knowledge" to us if we can't eat?

And I'm sorry, but re-editing the result of an AI search might not be old-fashioned, but it isn't an education either. I am a very fast learner, but no one learns well passively - you have to actually use the material yourself.
