A child is a form of immortality. A lot of people decide they want to have kids when they're dying, or regret not having done it if they are older.

But I agree with you that this is super sketchy. Why would this woman, seen in a classic sexy model pose, want to have a child by an incurable cripple who will be dead in a few years?
