I agree with everything you wrote, but I disagree somewhat with your conclusion.

I agree that fairness is not guaranteed and in practice doesn't usually happen. Where I disagree is that we should still believe in fairness - the fairness that we, as a society, could impose.

We know it isn't impossible - Western societies have managed to deliver at least some more fairness than existed centuries ago.

Very well-thought out article in general, have some claps!
