I agree with nearly everything you wrote, but the whole "Elon used lines of code metric" doesn't seem to be verifiable..

All I managed to find is that someone instructed the Twitter engineers to print out their code for the last couple of months, and that someone else then told them not to do it.

It makes no difference - Musk is incompetent.

He fired some huge quantity of the work force without any sort of adequate evaluation, and then was forced to hire some of them back, and now is demanding inhuman, ineffective work hours as a condition for engineers to remain.

As of last night, apparently all Twitter employees were locked out of their offices.

We have a broken society because we allow these malignant narcissists a free hand to cause any damage they see fit. I hope the day of reckoning is close at hand, because our natural world cannot take much more of this.
