I agree with you that saying these things to conservatives isn’t very useful. But it doesn’t make it false.

In my whole life, I never expected to run into a person with no good human qualities — and yet we have Donald Trump. I literally cannot think of one good thing about him. Yes, we all know about the lies and dishonesty, the racism and the hostility to almost everyone, the implacable hatred of the environment. Yes, a hundred thousand Americans will die horrible deaths for nothing because of him, and he will go down in history as the worst President.

But he doesn’t even have any small virtues. He has no sense of humor. He has no personal loyalty. He has no interest in anything in the world that isn’t him — nothing! He’s not interested in music, art, science, history, sports, pets — you name it, he doesn’t care. (And yet he constantly lies, claiming he’s the most knowledgeable person in the world about all these things.)

All of these horrible traits just appall me, and I live thousands of miles away from America. I can’t imagine how traumatic it must be for Americans.

So cut people some slack — yeah, even lame-ass white Democrats. They need space to express their horror at the unthinkable.
