I agree with your entire poem. It is a travesty how poorly women are treated almost universally. You can understand if not forgive how people from alien cultures are treated, but every man is of woman born, and grows up in a population that is half women, it's just inexcusable.

I wouldn't have mentioned it but I am aware that a lot of younger people today simply aren't aware of this.

Despite the ridiculousness, DEVO got their start when Kent State University was closed for six weeks after the Kent State shootings where American students were murdered by their own people.

The band's thesis was that humans were devolving and that they would cure this with mockery and satire. That didn't work, but they produced some excellent music.
