I am so, so sorry this happened to you, particularly at the hands of your "friends". I really hope things are better for you now, and you have friends who care for you.

Considering what the NSA does, it's likely that they are deliberately hiring antisocial personalities, so they probably aren't going to change what they do.

And I think you made a very brave and selfless decision in not telling your father. You took the hit, and saved him from it.
