I appreciate your giving me a puzzle sufficiently easy for me to solve in order to make me feel good about myself, without being trivial. Of course, I used to do math competitions when I was young.

My solution is the same as TJ Evert's except he doesn't see that the little isosceles triangles obviously have the same area as the little equilateral triangles because they have the same base and height.
