Trump is an old man who has spent his whole life immersed in cruelty, criminality, lies and hatred. He deserves every bit of the scorn thrown on him, and more. Slipping away into dementia should not be any sort of defense to his comeuppance. Taking the high road against this monster hasn't worked yet.
