I do agree with this comment. The problems with American society are of its own making.

However, this is not mutually exclusive with Trump being strongly influenced by Russia, and there's considerable evidence for it.

In a healthy society, Trump would simply not have been elected, and it would make no difference. I agree the essential problem is a broken society.

Which is why I left for good in December 2016.
