I hated this movie. So sick of women being abused by idiotic men in movies. A veneer of artiness and surrealism doesn't freshen up this boring material.

In my mind, he was associated with one atypical good movie, Being John Malkovich, and that's given him license to write what he really wants to write about - women being mistreated by men.
