I have two friends in that category. One of them suddenly stopped talking about politics on his Facebook around mid-2020. The other is so pathetic that I still chat to him when I see him, which has been more than a year. He’s completely delusional though: “I just discovered on 4chan that it’s not the cigarettes that cause cancer, it’s the filters! I’m trying to get my mother to smoke because she’s having difficulty with her lungs.”
