I mean, we invented radio less than 150 years ago, and we're most of the way to destruction already.

We've replaced nearly all the world's animals with cattle: https://xkcd.com/1338/

We're emitted so much carbon dioxide already that disaster is already assured, and we are continuing to emit even more.

We are consuming every natural resource that we have at an exponentially increasing rate. Almost all resources will be depleted entirely within a century at the current rate, and absolutely all of them within 250 years.

And that brings us to less than 400 years after the invention of radio. We still have to survive 1100 years after having devastated our climate, wiped out our natural world, and consumed all our readily available energy sources and raw materials.
