I more or less agree with this, but at the same time, it seems inconceivable that the Democrats will win - indeed, they astonishingly seem uninterested in winning.

A stroke of the pen would legalize marijuana or wipe out Federal student loans, both wildly popular, and inexplicably Biden refuses to do so. They are unable to keep party discipline, and thus Manchin and Sinema block any change, and face no consequences for doing that. Biden's COVID policy is of course better than Trump's but still far too little, far too late. Watching Biden speak is disconcertingly empty; Kamala Harris comes off as the heartless prosecutor and cop she always was; and Pelosi continue to be a lightning rod for the perception of politicos as corrupt rich people who make bank on the stock market.

I really don't understand what the hell is wrong with these people. Do they not understand the gravity of the situation? Or is it that they just don't care?
