The Republicans have publicly announced that they intend to prevent any more electoral losses by simply perverting the laws to allow state legislatures to override the actual Presidential vote. This is not acceptable but a midterm R victory will cement this.

I'm a mathematician. Your maximum voting power in the United States comes from this strategy: in a non-swing state, voting for the most popular third party that you support; in a swing state, holding your nose and voting for the main party candidate that is closest to your views.
