I remember this come on many many times. It annoyed me at the time, but it has a sentimental value to me now.

If someone told you, "sorry, but I lost my sense of humor in a rickshaw accident," then you probably met me, as that became my go-to joke.

No one laughed. I wasn't trying to mock people who were trying to make a living, just to say no in an entertaining way, no one took it badly but street sales are continuous hustling.
