I remember this very well, because I was big on D&D at the time.

It's particularly stupid because of how Christian D&D is. I actually didn't know the founders were so Christian, but one of the four original character classes is "cleric" and even though they make some attempt to be non-denominational the whole "holy water" thing just gives it away.
