I think this every single day. If I were the same person, but a Black woman with an AAVE accent, I'd be no doubt doing some miserable and undercompensated job.

I've spent almost forty years in the programming field, and during that time I've known exactly two Black programmers, both men, and I didn't work with either of them directly.
