I think I read almost everything Wyndham wrote!

(It turns out I've read all the novels he wrote under his own name: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Wyndham - as well as "Consider Her Ways".)

And I got the very first IASFM magazines and I still have them, though there's a twenty year gap in the middle. I have a continuous collection of F&SF though.

I fear no one has the will anymore to make the world better. I fear collapse is inevitable. COVID-19 made it clear that people wouldn't even do low-energy things like put on a mask in order to prevent almost immediate disaster. How can I believe that people will give up their precious lifestyles (can you hear my lip curling there?) in order to prevent our grandchildren from being terminally fucked?:
