If these guys are so smart, why aren't they dead?

I don't trust living experts on dying.

Many of these deaths are more spectacular than horrific. I think most people would find being vaporized by a volcano to be in the top 1% of deaths. Pyroclastic flows run at hundreds of miles an hour. You'd get to see this amazing show, and then you'd be dead within a fraction of a second, without time to feel pain.

To be honest, most human deaths are worse than the ones in this list. However, claps all around, because it was interesting in a sort of horrific way.
