Imagine you're beating a woman to death, and people are imploring you to stop, and your answer is, "She doesn't need me to save her."

WE are the ones killing the climate. The only ones who can stop it are us. "The climate" doesn't care what we do, but we're going to wipe out a million species, much of the world's ecosystems, and most of the world's population.
