I'm sorry to seem so critical, but an article about a "worldwide shift" that doesn't even mention the ongoing climate disaster and the devastating of our natural world can't help but seem wildly off-target.

The "great shift" that needs to happen is for humans to produce far, far less waste of every type, and that means consuming a heck of a lot less.

This is the biggest issue ever to face humanity, and at this point, it looks like your reaction, "Let's pretend it isn't happening and talk about how all facts are subjective," is the most popular response.
