I'm thoroughly sick of Glenn Greenwald, and I used to be a huge fan of his, but I read that link, and it is not as described: Greenwald says nothing for or against trans rights in this article.

He is a free speech absolutist these days, which is a juvenile position to be in. However, Greenwald is unhappy with a senior member of the ACLU calling for the banning of a book, and to be honest, I was kind of taken aback too.

Overall I agree with your article, and the idea that Substack can pay people to work for them full-time before they have generated any writing, and yet claim that they aren't hiring writers, is beyond sophistry to the point of lies.

I think your article would be better off without that one hard-to-justify claim...
