Interestingly, with my existing books, it goes like this.

Some classes I clearly didn't pay attention to, and I don't even remember opening the book, but I'm still not that interested in them.

But most of the books I can't read because I still remember them too closely, like with a lot of SF books I read a lot as a kid.

It sort of shocks me that I remember not just the material but how the pages look for courses I took in the late 70s and early 80s, but I feel very lucky.

As for Maxwell's Equations and the like, it's coming, but I have to finish more of my own work first...
