It doesn’t make me happy either, but for a different reason.

There’s a big difference between “I have an aesthetic preference for ‘this jam’’” and “I believe in this thing that is objectively false”.

I generally like to think that women are more practical and realistic than men, because society forces them to bear so many more of the consequences for bad decisions. I wish I were seeing more women here say, “The fact that what you believe is not actually true — you can’t overlook that, that’s important.”
