It doesn't seem to enter your consciousness that dragging around your house at the cost of burning immense qualities of fossil fuels.

At some point in the next couple of generations, the penny will drop. Our grandchildren will realize that we have left them with a world in ecological collapse.

Our generations will be hated for thousands of years, long after the rest of this time has faded into history, because we will have fucked everything up for everyone forever.
